According to the 2D structure similarity, ligands are classified into different ligand clusters,
which can considerably reduce the redundancy of the ligand range of targets. ePlatton relates
the ligand clusters to their targets and also integrates the information of disease, pathway,
drug adverse reaction (DAR) and approved drug.

Data statistics

ePlatton is a secondary database mainly based on chembl_19. The disease, pathway, DAR and drug
information comes from KEGG, OMIM, SIDER and DrugBank. ePlatton contains 234,591 interactions
between 1,477 proteins and 156,151 ligands, 13,769 ligand clusters, 736 diseases, 285 pathways,
2,394 drug adverse reactions and 454 approved drugs.
