Phenotype:After 6 weeks, oastlA and oastlB were indistinguishable from the wild type. Lines oastlC and oastlAB were about the same size relative to each other but were significantly smaller compared with wild-type plants (Figures 2A and 2B).After 8 weeks, they reached only 75% of fresh weight compared with the wild type. This retardation of growth was observed during the entire growth period. Lines oastlC and oastlAB flowered later than the wild type, and oastlAB never reached wild-type size (data not shown).(PMID: 18223034)
